With this final News we announce that the Project is going to phase-out by end of 2008 after 14 years of its existence and valuable contribution to the short-term training sector in Vietnam. The pictures on this News page provide you with some impressions about the official Project closing event held on 28 October 2008. The brochure "Fifteen Years Project Strengthening of Vocational Training Centres" is an interesting review of the process and the project's achievements.

We still keep this webpage alive for another six month under the current web-address www.swisscontact.org.vn. This we do to further provide access to the valuable training material available under Downloads. In the meantime we hope that the Government Project partner the General Directorate of Vocational Training (GDVT) will integrate the relevant content of the Project web-page into their own homepage. We can at this point in time not provide you with the future web-address under GDVT but please try to search with the key words such as "Vocational Training", "Strengthening of Vocational Training Centres - SVTC", "Short Term Training Sector Vietnam", "General Directorate for Vocational Training - GDVT" etc.
